Construction Manager - Edita Food Industries

- Plans, budgets, and schedules facility modifications, including estimates on equipment, labour, materials, and other related costs.

- Study and evaluate new projects to determine the feasibility of the investment, preliminary drawings, and the BOQ.

- Coordinate with the external consultants for the Mega projects tendering preparation, and following up during the tender and choose the appropriate contractor technically and financially according to the required criteria.

- Monitor’s and follow-up external consultant’s performance to assure that Edita standards are meet as required, and are on schedule.

- Monitor’s and follow-up on Medium projects with contractors on site to assure the project time plan is on schedule.

Handel the submittals, variation orders and invoices with both external consultants and contractors

- Hold regularly monthly meeting to discuss projects’ progress and cash flow, with the construction department team.

- Responsible for Small projects; technical specification preparation and BOQ, oversee the projects preliminary drawings’, and monitors the projects progress with the construction department team.

- Responsible for managing, and supervising Edita Head Quarter and factories expansions, and renovation; with the construction department team

- Coordinates, and oversee with the legal department for preparing contracting contracts, and further legal issues.

Handling any obstacles that occur with the governmental authorities and the neighbourhoods.

- Approving financial claims/variations for external consultants and contractors, and determine its validity.
