Assistant Sales Manager - Animation Advertising

Catalogue Assistants need to be very organized and have an eye for detail. They will need to be confident in their product use and may be expected to have experience working with particular types of printed catalogues and magazines. They will need good administration and data entry skills. If they are working with printed catalogues or magazines an understanding of design and print processes will be important. At the assistant level training is usually provided in the more specialized aspects of the job, and an employer will mainly be looking for someone with basic skills and commitment.

Catalogue Assistants will be responsible for developing the catalogue strategy as well as delivering it on time and within budget. You will have strong marketing communications experience particularly with a print focus, ideally with an emphasis on the production of catalogues and a comprehensive independent magazine.

Responsibilities include:

*with the communications manager, develop the catalogue strategy to maximize customer reach (both current and prospective)

*with the communications manager, monitor the retail environment for competitive activities

*Agency management (print and creative)

*Budget management

*Excellent project management

*be responsible for 7ayam Magazine which is a comprehensive independent magazine to do wide marketing for the magazine.

Catalogue Assistants will have previous marketing communications experience (catalogue and magazines focused) from the retail industry, be of degree caliber, ideally with an additional marketing qualification.
