Headquartered in London, Global Event Partners is a specialist international event organiser. We organise conference and exhibitions currently in the following sectors; oil and gas, energy, infrastructure, investment, security, metals and mining. Our events are predominately in Africa and the Middle East but our growing portfolio is expanding into Europe, the US, Asia and South America.

We are a small to medium sized company with 20-30 employees split between the Cairo office, London and our international partners and there is plenty of scope for career development within the company

Main duties:

• Selling Sponsorship packages, exhibition and delegate places at our conferences using the available database resources in line with targets set by Sales Manager.

• Researching, organizing and developing new leads for potential business.

• Generating daily call lists for potential clients.

• Regular updating of contact lists and available database.

• Attending Sales brief meetings and follow-up briefs.

• Providing regular (weekly & monthly or as required) detailed activity reports.

• Working closely with the sales director to achieve weekly/monthly sales targets.

• Working with the entire project team to ensure that delegate requirements and expectations are met.

• Following up payments of confirmed bookings.

• Maintaining accurate records of sales figures and paid accounts.

• Building strong customer relations with clients to ensure repeat and ongoing business.

• Keeping up to date with industry publications relevant to the topic areas and audiences of your assigned conferences to be aware of industry and news updates that may impact sales or the overall event(s)

• Being aware of competing events to gain knowledge and make recommendations for the unique selling points of each event.

• Providing feedback and new ideas generated through the sales process
